This letter notifies providers of the following important claims processing cutoff dates for claims to be paid by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). Please review the information detailed in the remainder of this letter.
•Fiscal Year 2014 Miscellaneous Fee-for-Service (FFS) Claims Cutoff: Noon, Monday,August 8, 2016
•Fiscal Year 2016 FFS Claims Processing Cutoff: Noon, Wednesday, August 24, 2016
Important: FFS claims can take up to 24 hours to process after being submitted to the Texas
Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP).
Miscellaneous FFS Claims
September 1, 2016, starts state fiscal year 2017. As a result, it is especially important to submit claims on a timely basis during the upcoming weeks. This is a reminder that, with the fiscal year change, any claims for services performed in fiscal year 2014 (September 1, 2013 to
August 31, 2014) that TMHP receives after Noon, Monday, August 8, 2016, will become miscellaneous claims and cannot be paid through the standard Claims Management System payment process.
