Medicaid Re-enrollment Website Launched
All provider types must re-enroll by March 24, 2016
DADS Medicaid providers that render services either through Medicaid managed care organizations or traditional fee-for-service Medicaid are required to revalidate their information every 3-5 years. In Texas, the deadline for the next re-enrollment is March 24, 2016.
To help providers better understand this process, DADS has created a Texas Medicaid LTSS Provider Re-enrollment website at http://www.dads.state.tx.us/providers/mpre/. The site includes a mailbox to submit questions and an enrollment FAQ. An application fee schedule, provider risk matrix and the reenrollment application will be added to the site as they become available.
Long-term care providers that bill or plan to bill for even one acute care service (like DME) will need to submit a separate re-enrollment application for each TPI through TMHP. DADS recommends these providers begin the process as soon as possible.
Long-term care providers (HCS, ICF, TxHmL providers) that do not bill for any acute care services will re-enroll through DADS.
Questions can be emailed to Texas.Medicaid.Enrollment@dads.state.tx.us.
