On June 20, stakeholders will have a chance to give their feedback on the draft of the 2015-2017 State Plan on Aging during a listening forum. The forum will be from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center Auditorium in Austin.
The listening forum is your chance to tell Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) leaders what you think about the state plan. An online survey is available for people who are unable to attend the forum.
The State Plan on Aging, which is prepared every three years, provides a strategic framework that outlines how DADS will help older people maintain their independence and dignity in their homes and communities.
For more information, including a copy of the draft plan, listening forum agenda and link to the survey, please visit the DADS Area Agencies on Aging website.
