HHSC intends to submit to Transmittal Number CHIP 32 to the Texas State Plan for Medical Assistance, which would indicate that HHSC will determine financial eligibility for the CHIP using new federal income rules that require states to base household income and composition on federal income tax rules that use modified adjusted gross income methodologies.
HHSC also intends to submit to Transmittal Number 14-003, which would indicate that HHSC will determine financial eligibility for most Medicaid programs using new federal income rules that require states to base household income and composition on federal income tax rules that use modified adjusted gross income methodologies.

Proposed Rules
The Texas Board of Nursing proposed to repeal existing Chapter 227, §§227.1 – 227.6, Pilot Programs for Innovative Applications to Professional Nursing Education, which is necessary because the board simultaneously proposed new Chapter 227.
The board also proposed new Chapter 227, Pilot Programs for Innovative Applications to Vocational and Professional Nursing Education, §§227.1 – 227.4, which would establish the procedures and requirements that apply to pilot programs for innovative applications to vocational and professional nursing education.
