— CMS will hold a conference call for software developers and vendors related to the upcoming October 2014 updates to MDS 3.0. on Thursday, January 23, 2014. From the news alert page:
A portion of this call will include a question and answer session specific to the October 2014 release. If you wish your technical questions to be considered for this session, you must submit them to the MDS Tech Issues mailbox at MDSTechIssues@cms.hhs.gov and include “VENDOR CALL” in the subject line. Questions must be emailed prior to 6:00 PM ET on Thursday, January 16, 2014.

— DADS invited Region 11 Only Adult Day Care providers to attend one of three meetings:
The first one will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Feb 4, 2014 in Pharr. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
The second meeting will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 4, 2014 in Pharr. Check-in begins at 1 p.m. The meetings in Pharr will be held at the Texas Department of Transportation Conference Center at 600 W. Expressway 83.
The third meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 6, 2014 in Corpus Christi.
