— DADS statement on government shutdown:
The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) wants to reassure providers and consumers that service delivery and provider reimbursement processes will continue despite the federal government shutdown that began Oct. 1…For the immediate future, our programs serving Texans who are older and those with intellectual, developmental or physical disabilities will continue uninterrupted.
— During the shutdown, each Medicare Administrative Contractor Operations will continue to perform all functions related to Medicare fee-for-service claims processing and payment.
