Proposed Rules
HHSC proposed to amend §355.8085, Reimbursement Methodology for Physicians and Other Practitioners to set Medicaid rates for certain evaluation and management services and vaccine administration services equal to the 2013-2014 Medicare rates. See the Texas Register for more information.
Adopted Rules
The Texas Board of Nursing adopted amendments to Chapter 214, §§214.1 – 214.13, Vocational Nursing Education, and Chapter 215, §§215.1 – 215.13, Professional Nursing Education, which correct typographical and minor editorial errors. For details, see the Texas Register.
- On DADS’ Behalf
HHSC adopted the repeal of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) concerning sections §72.102, §72.104, §72.401, §72.501, §72.601, §72.801, §72.1001, §72.2001, and §72.5002; the repeal of MOUs concerning §100.51, §100.52, §100.53, §100.54, §100.55, §100.57, §100.58, and §100.64. The repeals delete unnecessary rules in which the former Texas Department of Human Services, the former Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, or both, were parties.
