Providers who choose to participate in the rate enhancement program are required to meet certain spending requirements and are required to submit documentation verifying they have met these requirements. This amendment is required by the HHSC Budget Rider 67 of the 2010-2011 General Appropriations Act (Article II, Senate Bill 1, 81st Legislature, Regular Session, 2009).
