DADS updated providers on the STAR+PLUS program expansion. An excerpt:
“On February 1, 2011, DADS consumers in the Dallas and Tarrant service areas will be enrolled into the STAR+PLUS program as a managed care member. DADS recommends that any provider wishing to provide long-term services and supports to STAR+PLUS members in the Dallas and Tarrant service areas to contract with all the HMOs listed above. This will enable providers to continue to deliver services to their current consumers, who will be asked to select a STAR+PLUS HMO prior to enrollment.”
HCS and ICF/MR:
HHSC will consider Certified Medication Aide (CMA) an attendant in the ICF/MR program for Attendant Compensation Rate Enhancement purposes and an attendant in the HCS SL/RSS services. See the rules here. Download the letter for more information.
