- For HCS and MRAs: DADS posted a clarification to Information Letter 10-27, published on February 26, 2010:
The second paragraph on page four of the information letter incorrectly states:
CARE allows program providers to enter a revision to the most recently expired IPC up to 180 days after the begin date of the renewal IPC. Program providers must use the C02 screen in CARE to enter a revision to an IPC, including the effective date of the revision. If a program provider wants to revise the most recently expired IPC more than 180 days after the begin date of the renewal IPC, the program provider must contact DADS Program Enrollment/Utilization Review staff for assistance at (512) 438-5055. Program providers may not enter a revision to an IPC in CARE with an effective date that is before the most recent IPC revision.
Please use the information in the paragraph below and note the corrections are in bold:

Program providers must use the C02 screen in CARE to enter a revision to an IPC, including the effective date of the revision.
