DADS released four information letters:
CBA, ICM, and PC 3 providers: The new payment rate for these providers is $69.82, effective September 1, 2009. See other rates at this link. (Letter)
CWP providers: Rates for all CWP services except 24-Hour Residential Habilitation are effective September 1, 2009. Rates for CWP 24-Hour Residential Habilitation are effective October 1, 2009. You can find more rates at this link. (Letter)
NF providers: DADS attached to the letter an updated Texas Case Mix Index (CMI). To use the update, providers should have added the Medicaid RUG Grouper and Section T in their facility’s Minimum Data Set software. Instructions for adding the Texas CMI in the RAVEN software are also included in this attachment. (Letter and attachment)
CBA, CB A/RC, CMA, DSA, DAHS, HCS, ICF/MR, NF, PHC, RC, and TxHmL: The 2009 On-line Cost Report Training for these providers will be available, effective December 1, 2009. From the letter:
“Each contracted provider is required to submit financial and statistical information through a 2009 Cost Report for each contract held with the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). Information regarding completion of the 2009 Cost Reports and class-room based training will be distributed in early January 2010. 2009 Cost Reports are not yet available for completion and this letter does not address any cost report completion requirements other than the 2009 On-line cost report training.”
