HHSC adopted new Medicaid per diem rates for Non-State Operated ICF/MR Services by Level of Need and Facility Size. The rates are found here. See the relevant section of the Texas Register for more information.
Emergency Rules
The Texas Board adopted an emergency repeal of §180.1, concerning Rehabilitation Orders, and added new sections to Chapter 180, concerning Texas Physician Health Program and Rehabilitation Orders, §§180.1 – 180.3 and 180.7. You’ll find these details in the relevant section of the Texas Register.

Adopted Rules
The Texas Medical Board adopted amendments to Chapter 163, §163.4, concerning Procedural Rules for Licensure Applicants, which provide limited conditions under which licensure applications and registrations will be extended. The board also amended Chapter 183, §183.14, concerning Acudetox Specialists, which establishes that application and renewal fees for acudetox specialists are provided under §175.1 and §175.2 of this title. Adopted Rule Reviews
The Texas Board of Nursing adopted a review of 22 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 227, Pilot Programs for Innovative Applications to Professional Nursing Education. After reviewing Chapter 227, the Board decided to re-adopt it without changes. See the Texas Register for more information.
