HHSC will hold a public hearing on September 18, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. to receive public comment on proposed Medicaid payment rates for Personal Care III services in the CBA waiver program, CWP, and CLASS, in the Lone Star Conference Room HHSC. HHSC issued five public notices, including an intent to submit amendments to the Texas State Plan for Medical Assistance, which would address the eligibility of certain physicians, list new conditions of participation, and clarify the methodology HHSC uses to compute Medicaid supplemental payments for certain physicians. Proposed Rules
The Texas Board of Nursing proposes to amend §213.23, concerning Decision of the Board, which would establish the specific procedures and requirements that must be met before an individual’s permitted to appear before the Board to present a proposal for decision in a contested case. Adopted Rules
On behalf of DADS, HHSC adopted amendments to §§51.235, 51.401, and 51.441 in Chapter 51, Medically Dependent Children Program, to include RNs and LVNs as providers of direct care services. For more information, see the relevant section of the Texas Register.
