The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) released two information letters:
- Public Hearing Regarding Proposed Rule Amendment to the Reimbursement Methodology for Home and Community-based Services (HCS) to Redistribute the HCS Monthly Administration and Operations
HHSC informed HCS Providers that a public hearing, initially scheduled for April 22, 2009, has been rescheduled to May 27, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in the Lone Star Conference Room of the Health and Human Services Commission, Braker Center, Building H, located at 11209 Metric Boulevard, Austin, Texas. - Individual Plan of Care
DADS informed Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP) providers that effective immediately, MDCP case managers will begin sending copies of the individual plan of care, which could be either Form 2410, 2411, or 2412, to the MDCP provider at the time of the initial assessment, annual reassessment, or whenever an interim plan of care or budget revision is completed.
