Public Meetings and Notices
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) will hold a public meeting on March 30, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. to receive public comment on the proposed interim per diem Medicaid reimbursement rate for large, state-operated Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Mental Retardation, operated by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
The hearing will be held in the Lone Star Conference Room of the Health and Human Services Commission, Braker Center, Building H, located at 11209 Metric Boulevard, Austin, Texas. See the relevant section of the Texas Register for more information.
HHSC announced its intent to submit amendments to the Texas State Plan for Medical Assistance, under Title XIX of the Social Security Act, which are effective April 1, 2009. The amendments will modify the reimbursement methodologies in the Texas Medicaid State Plan as a result of Medicaid fee changes for services. HHSC also will submit to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services a request to amend the Medically Dependent Children Program waiver. See the relevant section of the Texas Register for details.
