In a July 30 letter to Home and Community-Based Services (HCS) Providers, the Texas Department Aging and Disability Services notified them about the process and forms to be used for transferring individuals receiving services in the HCS program. In a July 31 information letter, DADS notified Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disabilities Program Providers about a cost ceiling adjustment for Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Mental Retardation or a Related Condition, effective June 1, 2007. The new cost ceiling is $68,558.08. Download the letter here.
DADS issued a letter to Primary Home Care (PHC) and Community Attendant Services (CAS) Providers on July 31 to clarify retroactive payment procedures for Title XIX personal attendant services (PAS) in both PHC and CAS.
To be reimbursed for retroactive services, providers must meet all requirements specified in 40 Texas Administrative Code §47.85, including subsection (f). To read these requirements, download the letter here.
