The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has proposed to repeal and replace Subchapter A, §379.1, regarding definitions for programs serving adult victims of family violence and their children.
HHSC updated and clarified the rules regarding the Family Violence Program and added a new definition relating to Dating Violence. See the relevant section of the June 22 Texas Register for more information.
On behalf of the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), HHSC has adopted the repeal of Subchapter G, consisting of §6.301 and §6.310, in Chapter 6, Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Mental Retardation or Related Conditions (ICF/MR) Programs—Contracting. This repeal will delete an obsolete rule in the DADS rule base and facilitate the consolidation of state standards for ICF/MR providers relating to surrogate decision-making into one subchapter of the Texas Administrative Code. See the relevant section of the June 22 Texas Register for more information.

- Repeal of Subchapter J, §§8.231 – 8.249, in Chapter 8, Client Care–Mental Retardation Services, to facilitate the consolidation of the state standards for community-based program providers of the ICF/MR Program relating to surrogate decision-making into one subchapter of the Texas Administrative Code.
