The new fiscal year begins on September 1, 2007. Because of accounting system upgrades at the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), the cutoff for claim payments will be earlier than usual this year.
Providers should bill for all delivered services by August 15 to ensure payment of as many claims as possible before September 2007. Providers may download information letters for the following:
- ICF/MR Providers Group 6
- ICF/MR Providers Group 5
- HCS and TxHML
- Community Services Providers, Nursing Facility Providers, Therapy Providers
Additionally, DADS released an information letter to Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS), Case Management Agencies (CMAs), and Direct Services Agencies (DSAs) that may be experiencing problems in billing for CMA and DSA full and partial pre-assessments.
