— CMS posted two updated reference documents to provide technical information relevant to the Nursing Home Compare web site for certified NFs and the Five Star Quality Rating System under the Downloads section.
— DADS will present the proposed draft of Title 40, Part 1, TAC, Chapter 15, Licensing Standards for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Centers, at the Texas Aging and Disability Services Council meeting on Thursday, March 6, 2014. You may download an advance copy of the draft proposed rules here.
— DADS will conduct a study to identify crisis intervention programs currently available to, evaluate the need for appropriate housing for, and develop strategies for serving the needs of people in Texas with Prader-Willi syndrome.
