On Friday, September 20, 2002 from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will broadcast a two and a half hour presentation via satellite and Internet that will explain the upcoming national release and public reporting of the Nursing Home Quality Measures, scheduled for release in the middle of October.
Interested parties include Medicaid and/or Medicare-certified nursing facilities, and nursing facility provider associations.
The broadcast will include general background information on the Nursing Home Quality Initiative, as well as details on the role of the Texas Medical Foundation and the Quality Improvement Organization. There will be two live question-and-answer sessions as well.
